After acquiring a bachelor in Fine Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 1993, Alicia moved to Hannover, Germany. There she pursued a career in graphic design and during that time co-owned a graphic design firm with a German partner.		In 1997, she moved back to the States resettling in Minneapolis, MN. She continued to work as a graphic designer and illustrator at local firms until October 2000. At that time, she decided to give her love for illustration her full attention. So she set out on her own again and has loved every minute of it.
